She made national headlines, South African beauty queen Vanessa Goosen was caught in Thailand with drugs.
When judgment day came, the pregnant model was struck with the harshest sentence, the death penalty.
But after a lengthy legal marathon, the South African embassy advised her to plead guilty, a decision that reduced her initial sentence to 35 years behind bars.
After serving a lengthy jail term in the Asian country, Vanessa Goosen is back in South Africa. We bring you her personal journey as she rebuilds her life, and teaches others to do the same.
