As the year draws to a close, we bring you updates on some of the stories that touched you.
We go back to Sheri Brynard, she was born with Down Syndrome, a condition that leads to intellectual handicap.
The Bloemfontein resident became the first South African with the syndrome, to get a teacher's diploma.
And later, stories coming out of Diepsloot township in Johannesburg, left the nation in shock, in 2013.
This week, we show you the inspirational side to this community.
