This week we take a look at two inspiring South Africans who continue to make progress in their prospective fields.

His family was so poor that they couldn’t afford basics like toothpaste. Sometimes Vuyane Mhlomi didn’t attend school as there wasn’t enough money for a train ticket. But even when defeat seemed inevitable, Vuyane never stopped He went on to achieve his childhood dream of becoming an award-winning medical doctor. The 24-year-old also heads a bursary scheme for underprivileged children who were once in his position believing. He went on to becoming an award-winning medical doctor.

We end off with a story that touched the hearts of many. She Gang raped by 9 men at the tender age of 15 and then infected with HIV by a lover who knew about his positive status. But even though life's knocks were a burden too heavy to bear, Mpho never threw in the towel.

Join us as we show you how her incredible fighting spirit turned her into a globally recognized AIDS activist. He went on to achieve his childhood dream of becoming an award-winning medical doctor.
