Mabale is one sixth of the dysfunctional unit that is “Gareth Cliff, 5FM Mornings 06:00-09:00” Mondays to Fridays as the traffic correspondent as well as contributor of the show.  The show’s been going for 6 years and boasts a host of awards including the MTN Radio Awards, The Generation Next Awards as well as The Best of Jhb, Leisure Options Readers’ Choice Awards to name a few.

She is also one of the faces of E News Channel Africa (eNCA) as a news anchor for South Africa’s first 24-hour news network, which now also broadcasts to the UK and Ireland.   Her introduction to television, specifically news and current affairs, unfolded through Soweto TV.  Soweto TV was one of the first community TV channels of its time catering to residents of the greater Soweto area and is available on DSTV channel 150.  She spent 3 years on the channel as a news anchor.

She does work as an MC whereby her past events include working alongside Gareth Cliff at the Mnet Awards and more recently with John Vlismas as co-host of the Product Of The Year Awards (POTY).

This year so far has seen her attend the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) in Phoenix, Arizona, which she reported on for Tech Report.  That trip was quickly followed by a trip to London to attend a press junket for “After Earth” whereby she interviewed Will and Jaden Smith as well as M. Night Shyamalan.  Both these events and a lot more of my activities and work are well documented on her blog:
