Cases against Zinde to be heard jointly

JOHANNESBURG - The cases against Mark Zinde will now be heard jointly in the high court at a date yet to be set.

Zinde is accused of killing his mother, former SABC board member Hope Zinde in June last year.

He also stands accused of assaulting his father Dr Lebohang Mohale while he was out on bail.

On Wednesday, Zinde appeared before the Vereeniging magistrate's court for the assault case.

The matter has been postponed.

He will also remain in jail, after his bail was revoked

Zinde is expected at the Brits magistrate’s court on 24 January for the matter on his application for admission at Weskoppies Psychiatric Hospital.
