PRETORIA - The Public Protector said she will oppose President Jacob Zuma's State of Capture review.

Busisiwe Mkwebane released the findings of her investigations on Monday morning.

Mkwebane recommended that government take legal action to recover misappropriation funds given to Absa.

On Sunday, reports emerged that she failed to release several reports involving the Gupta family.

Now the Democratic Alliance is calling on Mkwebane to explain why.

The Gupta family is accused of capturing the state.

They're said to be using their financial power to control government resources, while coining billions from state-owned companies.
