JOHANNESBURG – The Parktown Boys High School waterpolo coach, facing 160 sex-related charges, is expected to appear at the South Gauteng High Court for trial on Friday.
The charges range from sexual assault, attempted murder, grooming children for sexual activity, assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm, exposure of porn to children and neglect.
The coach was seen on CCTV touching a learner inappropriately and making his way into one of the dorm rooms at the schools boarding facility.
He resigned when allegations of sexual assault and rape were levelled against him, but was subsequently arrested and is out on bail.
