DURBAN - At least three people have been injured after a train derailed in Durban on Friday morning.

The incident occurred near North Coast and Mimosa Road in Greenwood Park.

The Metrorail train was heading from the Duff's Road Station to the city centre.

Commuters can expect delays along the route.

Rail agency, Prasa, said the line was closed and would be re-opened on Saturday.

The cause of the accident is being investigated.
