CAPE TOWN - Professor Cyril Karabus has spent his first night back in South Africa after his nine-month nightmare ordeal.

Officials in the UAE arrested the doctor while he was in transit last year.

Karabus didn't know it, but a court had already tried him for the death of a girl he treated in 2002.

Annika Larsen met with Professor Karabus and his wife, Jennifer, and has the story.
