JOHANNESBURG - Civil society groups have intensified their fight against state capture with the formation of a new coalition.
FutureSA was officially launched in Johannesburg on Monday.
The group says it will be marching to Parliament on 8 August.
The coalition supports opposition parties' call for a secret ballot in the motion of no confidence against President Jacob Zuma.
“We are calling for a lunchtime shutdown on August 8. From noon to 2pm we want ordinary people -- be they at home, at work or school -- to take to the streets and make their voices heard.
"For those in Cape Town, we urge the march to Parliament against Zuma,” the organisation said in a statement.
