JOHANNESBURG - South Africa experieced significant snowfalls in places over the Free State, Lesotho and the southern Drakensberg overnight on Sunday night.

Snowfalls continued Monday over Lesotho and the southern Drakensberg.

Lighter snowfalls are expected over Lesotho tonight.

No snow is forecast for the rest of this week.

However, eNCA Weather is monitoring a cold front which moves into the Western Cape on Saturday.
