JOHANNESBURG – The African National Congress (ANC) has appointed Pule Mabe as national party spokesperson, effective Tuesday.
Mabe is serving a second term as a member of the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the ANC and has been a member of the ANC NEC Sub-Committee on Communications since 2012.
The ANC wished Mabe well in his new role and said it had full confidence in his abilities.
Mabe is a trained journalist.
"The ANC wishes comrade Mabe well in his new role and has full confidence in him to execute his new tasks, at the helm of our communication machinery, with distinction," the ANC said in a statement.
