SA shivers as cold front conditions spread inland

JOHANNESBURG - Icy white snow has left its mark on several parts of the country.

A cold front made landfall this weekend, forcing temperatures to plummet.

It’s left a dusting of snow across the Western, Northern and Eastern Cape.

Many people took to social media, sharing videos and photos of snowfalls. 

Environmental Affairs Minister Edna Molewa has appealed to the citizens to keep warm as the cold front persists over the coming days.

The Weather Services is also warning of possible flooding in the Cape Metropole, Overberg and the Cape Winelands.
