DURBAN - The South African National Civic Organisation said it is concerned about the safety of witnesses, testifying before the Moerane Commission.

Sanco is due to testify later this month.

But it is raising questions about why the inquiry is being televised.

The Moerane Commission is probing political killings in KwaZulu-Natal.
