JOHANNESBURG - Vicki Momberg, the Durban woman who hurled racial insults at black police officers, is facing seven additional charges of crimen injuria.

The police laid a charge of crimen injuria against her.

The charge has been defined as a willful injury to someone’s dignity, caused by the use of obscene or racially offensive language or gestures.

During her first appearance in July, Momberg told the court that she was traumatised when the video was recorded and she is not a racist.

She said just before the recording she was the victim of a smash-and-grab incident.

The prosecution insist her outburst in the video was not an isolated incident.

eNCA spoke to a woman who was a subordinate of Momberg's who said that she had suffered abuse from the estate agent.
