JOHANNESBURG – The family of murdered SABC board member Hope Zinde say they are trying to find a way to be there for the deceased’s son.

The 23-year-old Mark appeared in the Brits Magistrate's Court on Monday, accused of murdering his own mother and stuffing her body in the boot of her car.

Zinde's body was found on Saturday.

It is believed the 50-year old was killed earlier in the week.

The court case was postponed to Friday to allow for a psychological evaluation of the accused.

Mark has been charged with his mother's murder as well as possession of an illegal substance.

Zinde’s family is now busy making funeral arrangements.
