MTN8 final will take place despite KZN storm havoc

JOHANNESBURG - The Premier Soccer league has confirmed that Saturday’s MTN8 Final between Cape Town City and SuperSport United will take place at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban despite the large-scale damages caused the deadly storms that hit the city and surrounds earlier this week.

Following the floods in KZN, the PSL has been in constant contact with Stadium management to assess the state of the venue and, more importantly, the playing surface.

The League is satisfied that the pitch will be in playable and therefore the final will start at 7pm as scheduled.

Moses Mabhida Stadium manager, Vusi Mazibuko said they are ready for the MTN8 final.
