Two teens die during prison riot

JOHANNESBURG - Two 18-year-old prisoners have been killed after a riot broke out at a youth prison in the Guatemalan capital.

Several other inmates are being treated for moderate injuries.

Some prisoners managed to escape and looted a nearby shop.

Prisoners have complained of poor living conditions, overcrowding and abuse.

The facility was built to house 250 inmates, but is currently home to nearly 500.
