EU Africa summit commences without Mugabe

BRUSSELS - The European Union&39;s ambassador to Zimbabwe said the country has missed out on a chance to address key issues like sanctions.

This comes after Zimbabwean president Robert Mugabe refused to attend the summit after his wife Grace was not granted a visa.

African leaders and their Euopean counterparts converged in Brussels to discuss trade relations and peacekeeping.
