MOGADISHU - Somalia's first female presidential candidate says threats from militant groups like Al-Shabaab will not deter her.

The country’s presidential elections are set to take place at the end of November and among the eighteen candidates vying for the presidency is Fadumo Dayib.

She says the lives of 12 million Somalis are top of her agenda.
