According to the organisers, the two-day event will bring together over 100 new and emerging designers inspired by the culture of Africa incorporated into contemporary design.

Model Maggie Smith, who is of Ugandan/Scottish Heritage, is the Face of AFWL 2015.

South Africa will be showcasing 20 of its best designers.
