JOHANNESBURG - Public Health specialist, Andrew Robinson says the number of COVID-19 tests conducted does not reflect the true nature of the epidemic in South Africa.
According to Robinson, it is not known how the virus will interact with SA's HIV/Aids and Tuberculosis (TB) epidemics.
"The true reality will only come once the data is in. So far, we are doing all we can with the resources that we have got."
The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in SA is 3,034.

Health Minister, Zweli Mkhize says over 100,000 tests have been conducted, mostly in the private sector.
The death toll is now 52.
