Economist Lumkile Mondi said this is an opportunity for President Cyril Ramaphosa to show leadership.

Mondi said the ANC and the country have been fractured by divisive policy choices and confidence in the state has taken a knock through corruption.

Ramaphosa should show the country he is concerned with the well-being of the people instead of internal political battles, Mondi opined.
