Is SA on the verge of coalition governance?

For the first time, South Africa might have a coalition government. What should the country expect if this does happen? #Dstv403

JOHANNESBURG - For the first time, South Africa might have a coalition government.

We've seen how troublesome coalitions have been in places like Nelson Mandela Bay and Tshwane.

The DA-led Nelson Mandela Bay coalition suffered a setback when Athol Trollip and Jonathan Lawack were removed as mayor and speaker through a motion of no confidence.

Former Tshwane mayor Solly Msimanga survived motion of no confidence votes after both the ANC and EFF wanted him to step down over allegations of corruption and the irregular appointment of senior staff.

eNCA spoke to Dullah Omar Institute Director Jaap de Visser in Cape Town, and Public Relations Strategist, Makhosini Mgitywa about the prospects of coalition governance in SA.
