WATCH: Political funding needs to be put in spotlight

JOHANNESBURG - President Cyril Ramaphosa is facing some tough questions following revelations of a R500,000 campaign donation he received from embattled company Bosasa.

Ramaphosa claims to know nothing about the money, but he said he'll be paying it back.

Reputation management advisor Solly Moeng says a lot still needs to be uncovered.

“The discussion we not having is political funding, we know of Bosasa but not everyone else, he’s not unique in this.

"At some point we want to know who influences politics through funding,” said Moeng.
