JOHANNESBURG - South Africa might not need to go into another hard lockdown, according to the University of KwaZulu-Natal Vaccinology Professor, Mosa Moshabela.

The National Institute of Communicable diseases reported 868 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours.

The majority of the new cases are from Gauteng.
