JOHANNESBURG - SAA business rescue practitioners have requested yet another bailout barely six months after the airline received R10.5 billion.
Finance Minister Tito Mboweni says the airline's rescue practitioners have asked for more, but the request has not been considered, yet.
Mboweni delivered his 2021 budget speech on Wednesday in Parliament.
"SAA business rescue practitioners have made a request of some R3.5 billion, but that still has to be interrogated to check the veracity of the request," says Mboweni.
Mboweni says, in the current budget, there is no provision for SAA.
