JOHANNESBURG - Brace yourselves for a big petrol price increase in June.
The Automobile Association says this prediction is based on unaudited mid-month fuel price data released by the Central Energy Fund.
The petrol price is expected to increase by about 50 cents a litre.
Diesel and paraffin could decrease by 56 cents and 75 cents respectively.
The projections follow price cuts in April and May.
Those resulted from the tanking of global oil prices as industries shut down for lockdowns around the world.
