JOHANNESBURG - Comair's business rescue practitioners have asked creditors for a short extension for the publication of its business rescue plan.

The airline says it still needs to process financial statements for April and is awaiting an independent calculation for liquidation dividend.

Comair will halve its fleet of aircraft that includes 27 Boeing planes as part of efforts to rescue the company.

It aims to return to the skies by November.

The company operates the local British Airways franchise and budget airline kulula.com.
