COVID-19: Caxton to stop magazine production

JOHANNESBURG - Caxton Publications has announced it will stop publishing.

That's after initially announcing it was closing its magazine division.

The group says there's been a steady decline in advertising and circulation numbers for its publications.

The negative impact of COVID-19 has resulted in even fewer advertisers coming on board.  

Caxton publishes magazines such as the iconic Bona, Food & Home,Your Family, Garden & Home and People among others.

The group says it will start consulting procedures with employees.
