JOHANNESBURG - The tourism industry has welcomed government’s lifting of the state of disaster but hospitality association Fedhasa says last night’s announcement missed an important opportunity.
The group is calling for the urgent removal of the PCR test requirement for unvaccinated children between the ages of five and 12.
Under current rules only children under the age of five are exempt from furnishing either a vaccination certificate or negative PCR test.
Fedhasa says the rules continue to affect travel.
