JOHANNESBURG - The public has been assured that it will not have to fork out the R70 administrative charge for COVID-19 vaccines in the private sector.
Dis-chem and Clicks are the two private pharmacies offering vaccines.
The Health Department says it will cover administrative fees, together with medical schemes.
Dis-chem says it will have 11 mass vaccination sites from 24 May.
Clicks says it has the green light to administer jabs at 47 sites.
Both chains will expand the number of sites when they get government approval.
