JOHANNESBURG - The wait continues for investors who lost billions of rand in Steinhoff's historic share price collapse in 2017.
They will likely only start receiving settlement payouts next year according to the Stichting Steinhoff Recovery Foundation, an independent body set up to assess claims.
The foundation is verifying the 43,000 claims it received worth about R53-billion.
This exceeds the R25-billion Steinhoff set aside for settlement.
