Numsa, Comair to meet in attempt to avert strike

JOHANNEBURG - Comair and the National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa (Numsa) will meet again on Saturday in an attempt to resolve a wage dispute.

Numsa says they're hopeful of finding a resolution, in order to avoid another strike. 

The Labour Court temporarily interdicted a strike by Comair workers this week.

Just over an hour before the ruling, Numsa members had downed tools over salary disparities. 

The court has reserved judgment until Tuesday.
