JOHANNESBURG - President Cyril Ramaphosa says South Africa is on a firm footing ahead of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
Speaking to delegates at a breakfast meeting in Johannesburg, the President urged business leaders to speak with one voice as they make a case for more investment in South Africa.
Ramaphosa also fielded questions about the ANC's manifesto which suggested the reserve bank should be flexible in its mandate.
South Africa's fifty member team will have an easier task selling the country as an investment destination compared to a few years ago.
Ramaphosa said a lot’s been done to meet goals the country set itself.
He said the country has gone some way in ensuring policy certainty.
Team SA leaves for Davos next week.
