COVID-19: Relief for 15,000 small-scale farmers

PRETORIA - Up to 15,000 small scale farmers will each receive R50,000 from the COVID-19 relief fund.

Agriculture Minister Thoko Didiza says the intervention of R1.2-billion is an attempt to offset the negative impact of the coronavirus and ensure sustainable food production after the pandemic.

Didiza was speaking at a briefing in Pretoria.
