JOHANNESBURG - A growing number of companies are doing so amid the battle with the fourth wave of COVID-19 and the new Omicron variant.
Standard Bank has also recently announced its new policy that requires all employees in South Africa who work from any of its premises to be vaccinated.
Standard Bank CEO Lungisa Fuzile said: "There is no doubt, to execute this mandatory vaccination for employees and for everyone who visits our offices and works in them.
"The only exclusion would be for people who come in and out, in a branch for example."
Fuzile said the policy would be enforced from 4 April 2022 and will use the next few months to plan for the execution of the policy.
