JOHANNESBURG - Payments from the government's COVID-19 relief scheme are expected to resume on Monday.
Auditor-General Kimi Makwetu suspended the Temporary Employer-Employee Relief Scheme (Ters) for two weeks, after fraud claims.
The UIF, which funds the scheme, says it would only pay out valid claims.
Claims, where information is still outstanding, won't be automatically processed.
The benefit was put in place to help workers affected by the national lockdown.
It formed part of President Cyril Ramaphosa's R500-billion economic and social relief package.
