JOHANNESBURG - The General Industries Workers Union of South Africa (GIWUSA), has warned of further strike action if the government does not address its concerns over the cost of living.
Thousands of marchers affiliated to trade union federations Cosatu and Saftu took to the streets in a national shutdown on Wednesday.

They are calling on the government to act against the rising cost of living, high unemployment and poor wages.
