UPDATE: Mboweni's request subject to parliamentary committee approval

CAPE TOWN  - The National Assembly says the rescheduling of the Medium-Term Budget Policy Statement is subject to the approval of the Parliamentary Programming Committee.

Finance Minister, Tito Mboweni was set to deliver the mini-budget next week but Treasury has requested it be postponed due to delays in the finalisation of the Economic Reconstruction and Recovery Plan.

The meeting has been scheduled for Thursday.
