President Cyril Ramaphosa is seeking to attract billions in new investment to kickstart South Africa's stalling economy.
The summit is just one of a number of interventions the President hopes will reignite growth and create jobs.
The South Africa Investment Conference began on Thursday and takes place under the theme, “Accelerating Growth by Building Partnerships”.
Thousands of delegates from business, civil society are expected to attend.
