JOHANNESBURG - The Competition Tribunal has dismissed a complaint against WBHO Construction.

WBHO had been accused of collusive behaviour in the building of a road near FNB stadium ahead of the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

The case relates to a 2006 probe into the construction industry.

WBHO and Group Five were accused of collusion to fix trading conditions for a tender to build a portion of the N17 road between New Canada and FNB Stadium in Johannesburg.

The Tribunal says the Commission failed to prove that there was an agreement between the companies to align their bids for the tender.

Group Five filed for bankruptcy protection in March.
