Zimbabweans now buying fuel in SA

JOHANNESBURG - Zimbabweans are again crossing the border into South Africa to cope with the dire economic situation back home.

The country's been hit by protests after the government hiked fuel prices by more than 100 percent last week.

ZimStats revealed inflation soared to over 42 percent year-on-year in December, mainly driven by a rise in basic food prices.
