Posted on: Mon 08 Apr 2013

The 20th African Union Summit  was held in Addis Ababa,  Ethiopia almost two weeks ago. The two- day gathering which coincided with the organization’s 50th  anniversary, was held under the theme of  “Pan Africanism and African Renaissance”. Besides the conflict in Mali,  African leaders also discussed ways to boost Africa’s economic development calling for more integration amongst member states through free trade. But as it was expected, the Mali armed conflict topped the agenda.

This week on Africa 360, we bring you a special inside report of what transpired at that summit where major decisions in the history of this continental body were taken.
