JOHANNESBURG - South Africa has recorded 3,069 new COVID-19 cases as well as 88 deaths in the last 24 hours.
The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in South Africa stands at 778, 571.
Cumulative deaths have now passed the 21,000 mark.
More than 5-million tests have been conducted.
The Health Department says Gauteng officials are still reconciling their data.
