JOHANNESBURG - Aid agencies blame lack of political will for the spread of Ebola in west Africa.

According to Doctors Without Borders, the deadliest-ever outbreak of the virus is now ‘out of control’.

According to the World Health Organisation, Ebola has already killed over 300 people in west Africa.

Meanwhile, Sierra Leone says it is dismayed by allegations that it is not doing enough to combat the Ebola outbreak ravaging West Africa.

On Friday a senior official with Doctors Without Borders said that governments in affected countries and international organisations were not doing enough to combat Ebola. The World Health Organisation has named Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone as the worst-hit countries.

Sierra Leone&39;s Deputy Minister of Information and Communications, Theo Nicol, said on Saturday that the country has worked hard to educate people about how to stop Ebola&39;s spread and has declared a state of emergency in areas where people have died.

He said everyone must share the blame for the spread of the disease.
