WESTERN CAPE - One woman's birthday has just put a small railway town near the edge of the Karoo on the map.
Margaret Maritz celebrated her 115th birthday in Touws River.
She's believed to be the oldest living resident in the Western Cape, and one of the oldest people in the world.
Social Development Minister Lindiwe Zulu visited the super-centenarian on her special day.
