JOHANNESBURG - The author of a book about Senzo Meyiwa's life has lifted the lid on who might be responsible for his death.

Soweto Mandlanzi conducted interviews with people close to the Bafana Bafana keeper and said it is impossible for those at the crime scene to not know who killed Meyiwa.

"In reading the story, the reader will be able to see what really occurred. There are many times, even when I spoke to Sifiso Meyiwa, Senzo's brother, there are many times when the story changes.

At some point, one of the guys that I interviewed does actually say that everyone who was in the house actually knew who killed Senzo Meyiwa, said Mandlanzi.

The former Bafana Bafana captain was shot and killed in 2014.

The book is titled Decoding 666_9: The Inexplicable Life of Senzo Meyiwa.
