Coastline buzzing as sardine fever hits KZN

DURBAN - There's something fishy on the KwaZulu-Natal coastline.

It's buzzing with fishermen, locals and visitors hoping to view the annual sardine run.

The silver tide usually happens between June and July.

So far this year, netters have filled at least 500 crates of fish between Winklespruit and the Illovo River mouth off the KZN south coast.
