JOHANNESBURG - It may have been stitched locally, but the president’s State of the Nation Address (Sona) suit wasn't all South African.

During Sona, Cyril Ramaphosa revealed his outfit is from House of Monatic, based in Cape Town.

The president used this to encourage South Africans to buy local goods.

The fabric used to make Ramaphosa's garments, as well as most suits in the country, is imported.
